Mark Nielsen

Mark Nielsen is the general manager of TENTMAKERS.  He attended TENTMAKERS training in the summer of 1986 and served as a TENTMAKER-trained youth director in Sacramento, California, while finishing his university studies in forensic science.  Upon graduation, Mark married the love of his life Pamela Olsgaard, a fellow TENTMAKER from the class of 1986.  He has four children and five grandchildren.  He worked as a forensic scientist for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for 33 years.  Upon retirement, after many years of volunteering with TENTMAKERS, Mark came on staff and serves as our general manager overseeing all program operations.   He has a passion for young people and is committed to finding great leaders who want to serve in a “life on mission”.
