Lora Trost's journey with TENTMAKERS began in 1992 as a young youth director. What started as leadership training became the foundation for a lifetime of discipleship, leadership development, and living on mission for Jesus Christ.

For more than 30 years, Lora has served in executive and pastoral leadership, equipping people to discover their God-given calling and helping churches build healthy cultures of discipleship. Her ministry experience includes leading the Alpha ministry in a growing church, serving as the State of Iowa Director for Alpha USA, and providing leadership as a campus pastor, discipleship pastor, and care pastor. Throughout every role, her passion has remained the same: investing and discipling people who invest in and disciple others.

Lora is known for developing leaders, building strong teams, and helping people recognize the gifts God has placed within them. She believes the Church is at its best when every believer is equipped and released to live out God's purpose in their everyday lives.

Having experienced the life-changing impact of TENTMAKERS personally, Lora is honored to now lead the ministry that helped shape her own faith and leadership. She believes the mission of TENTMAKERS is needed now more than ever—to raise up disciples who know Jesus, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and make disciples wherever God calls them.

Lora and her husband, Fritz, have shared more than three decades of marriage and are grateful for the family God has entrusted to them. They have four grown children and two sons-in-law and delight in being grandparents to their first grandchild. Together they enjoy opening their home, gathering people around the table, and encouraging others to live intentionally for Christ. In her free time, Lora enjoys biking, kayaking, long walks in nature, adventures with family and friends, and a good, strong cup of coffee.

As Executive Director, Lora is committed to prayerfully leading TENTMAKERS into its next chapter—trusting God to equip, empower, and send a new generation of leaders to impact the world for His Kingdom.
