Founder Emeritus

Londa Amundson co-founded TENTMAKERS with her husband, Dick, in 1979. Over the years, she served in a variety of capacities, from accountant and cook to trainer and director. A major focus of her work was the development of TENTMAKERS’ unique training process. She has extensive experience in organizational leadership and management, curriculum development, and leading retreats, seminars, and workshops. She holds an M.A. in Management from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

In association with the International Training Alliance, Londa co-developed the 12-day Leadership Matters Course for mission and church leaders around the world, working with members of mission organizations including Operation Mobilization, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Christian and Missionary Alliance, and Global Partners.

Londa and Dick shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in April 2026. Together they raised four children, and Londa now delights in her growing family, including her grandchildren. She lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and is a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
