Greg Ploeger was first introduced to TENTMAKERS after graduating from college in 1985. At the time, his church was seeking strong, Christ-centered leadership for its youth ministry program. A partnership with TENTMAKERS launched more than a decade of effective ministry that shaped the direction of the church’s investment in young people.

For more than 30 years, Greg has devoted himself to the well-being of youth—serving faithfully within his church and at a local treatment center, where his steady presence and compassionate leadership have left a lasting mark on countless lives.

Professionally, Greg brings a broad and distinguished background. He has practiced law and successfully managed seven wholesale distribution branches across Iowa and the Twin Cities, overseeing teams, operations, and strategic growth. Today, he continues to serve his community as a respected realtor in the greater Ankeny, Iowa, area.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys restoring older cars and trucks, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Greg’s continued involvement with TENTMAKERS springs from a deep conviction: America’s youth are in a fierce battle for their future, and the need for capable, Christ-centered mentors has never been greater. His passion, experience, and unwavering concern for the next generation make him a powerful advocate and leader in this mission.
