Kitchen & Housekeeping Manager

Cheryl Lewis serves as the Kitchen & Housekeeping Manager at Tentmakers, where she has faithfully invested over six years of service. Known for her warmth, steady presence, and joyful spirit, Cheryl brings more than just experience to her role—she brings heart. In fact, she often says that serving at Wilderness North doesn’t feel like work at all but a joy and privilege she genuinely loves.

Before joining Tentmakers, Cheryl spent 20 years at Ameriprise Financial in the brokerage field, building a strong foundation of diligence, responsibility, and excellence. She continues to serve her local community as the township treasurer of Bassett, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to stewardship and trust.

Cheryl’s life has been rich with adventure and service. She spent five years with Pine County Search and Rescue on horseback while raising quarter horses and leading 4-H groups—experiences that reflect her love for the outdoors, leadership, and helping others.

Today, Cheryl walks in a season of unfolding strength and wonder, actively embracing growth and adventure as she works through her bucket list. Some experiences—like white water rafting and traveling through Alaska—have felt a little scary, yet they’ve proven deeply rewarding, each step stretching her faith and filling her with joy.

She has been married to her husband, Fred, for 57 years, and together they have built a beautiful family with two adult children and four grandchildren, who are truly the joy of their lives.
