André LaTondresse came to faith in Jesus Christ while a student at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities, where he was actively involved in The Navigators campus ministry. From that time forward, a deep and steady passion for sharing the love of Christ has marked his life.

While raising a family and building a career as an architect in Hopkins, Minnesota, André faithfully lived out his calling in everyday life. In the mid-1990s, he and his wife, Barbara, along with their two children, stepped into full-time missions, serving four years as Navigator staff missionaries in Siberia. His heart for the nations has continued through mission work in Kenya and the Congo.

Today, André serves with TENTMAKERS as both a recruiter and trainer, investing in others with wisdom, clarity, and conviction. He especially treasures the moments when truth takes hold and participants begin to see with new understanding, often describing it as watching “the lights come on.”
