Leadership Quest is a one week wilderness-based leadership training camping experience for responsible high school sophomores, juniors, seniors and recent graduates.
What is Leadership Quest?
- An opportunity to learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him through Bible study, prayer, and friendships.
- A time for building Christian friendships.
- A seven day wilderness camping experience in Northern Minnesota where campers work together as a team to run and maintain the camp.
- An experience of outdoor recreation - canoeing, fishing, sailing, hiking, and swimming.
- A week to focus humbly on each person's strengths and potential as a leader.
Objectives include:
Strengthening students' walk with Christ
Building skills in relationships
Gaining confidence as a leader
Developing a personal life management plan
Leading Bible studies and
Discovering a vision to impact one's church and school.
Cost / Registration
- Super Early Bird $315 per student through Dec. 7th, 2009

- All adult leaders: $200
- $100 Non-refundable deposit for each student or adult.
To register students, print off, fill out, and mail in the GROUP form with your deposits ($100 for each person in your group) to make your reservation for the Leadership Quest week of your choice.

Ways to be involved in Leadership Quest 2010
- Volunteer your youth group to help assemble manuals in the spring as a service project
- Donate to the Tentmakers LQ Scholarship Fund
- Nominate a mentor from your church to love on students for a week and share their life story
- Volunteer to help at Wilderness North during a week of Leadership Quest
- Offer LQ as a Christmas or birthday present
- Collect video testimonials of LQ alumni from your church to show the impact it has on them and motivate others to come
- Take video of LQers at camp next summer
Be the photographer for a week of LQ
- Edit video footage
- Host a group that is traveling a long distance to get to camp (we have people planning to come from Alabama, Arizona, Ohio, and Oregon) and use this as a leadership opportunity for your LQ alumni
- Be in prayer for LQ – a list of things to pray for will be emailed to you
Scholarship a student from your church
