WILDERNESS NORTH SUMMER STAFF

The Tentmakers Wilderness North training center is looking for summer staff beginning early June 2009 and running through end of August 2009. You must be at least 18 by June 1st and have a passion for the wilderness, the mission of Tentmakers, encouraging and building people up, and for living a Christ-centered life. Lodging and meals are provided.

Wilderness North is located in Brimson, MN, which is located about one hour north of Duluth, MN, in the beautiful Superior National Forest.

POSTIONS AVAILABLE:

ASSISTANT COOK – Preparing, and cooking meals for students and staff. Delegating foodpreparation to Leadership Quest and Young Leaders participants work groups.

HOSPITALITY ASSISTANT - Maintain the cleanliness and order of the Mentor House, Shower House, saunas, Main Lodge, Caleb Cabins, and the outhouses. Greeting guests. Some meal preparations. Work with Leadership Quest and Young Leaders participants on work projects.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS ASSISTANT - This position would include general cleaning, facilities and trail maintenance, working on special projects, and working with Leadership Quest and Young Leaders participants on work projects.

CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD– This position maybe combined with one of the positions listed above.

FIRST AID/CPR CERTIFIED - This position maybe combined with one of the positions listed above.
